SPARK WORKSHOP: Kawaii + Boba App Design MAY

A fresh and new approach to app design for kids is here! Welcome to our Design Workshop series where kids get to learn digital design skills themed for their interests. This Kawaii + Boba Intro to App Design Workshop is a for early innovators that will learn the exciting worlds of visual design and user experience (UX) to craft apps that are not only eye-catching but also user-friendly. 
 
In this fun and interactive session, kids will be guided by our expert facilitator, with over 25+ years of design experience,  to explore the world of visual design and user experience (UX). Through hands-on activities and creative exercises, they will learn the fundamentals of:
 
Kawaii Design: Mastering the art of cuteness! From adorable characters and pastel color palettes to playful icons and backgrounds, kids will bring their kawaii vision to life.
User Experience (UX), Customer Experience (CX) and Information Architecture (IA): Designing an app that's as easy and enjoyable to use as it is visually stunning. They'll learn how to structure their app for intuitive navigation and a delightful user experience. This is an introductory to UX, CX and IA for kids! 
 
By the end of the workshop, your child will have:
Designed their very own kawaii boba app, complete with screens, characters, and more!
Gained an introduction & understanding of visual design principles and UX concepts.
Boosted their creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Interactive app prototype for parents and kids to enjoy & show to friends and family
Walk away with memories and hopefully friendships to last a lifetime.
